Graphic Art & Editing
Hi, I'm Jette
I don’t like to mislead anyone… I am no professional!
Graphic editing is just a hobby for me, but that is why I am willing to work for much less than your average professional. Click the “My Background” link above to learn more about how I got started doing graphic editing and the tools I like to use, or continue to scroll below to learn what I can do for you!!
Turning my hobby into a service for you!
Digital Image Editing

I've been Cultivating my skills since 1995
Although I have no professional training, I have been self-learning raster graphics for 3 decades, ever since I got my first computer.
Years Of Experience
Successful Projects
I have only been doing graphics for people online since the beginning of 2025 when I discovered the Reddit group: PhotoshopRequest. Prior to that I just used it for family, friends and personal projects. But now that I am designing for others, I am working on compiling some of my favorite projects into a portfolio, so be sure to check back for new examples!
My Skills
My preferred Projects
When it comes to doing FREE requests on Reddit, I usually pick my projects based on one of two factors: skills that I am trying to learn or improve, and edits that I think will be fun or have inspired me. But if you are a paying customer, I will do any of the following for a reasonable fee.
*Click on any category to see more images in that style
This is a fairly new skill for me, started in late 2024 when I purchased Corel Painter, which is software that mimics the texture and brushstrokes of real paint media to a surprisingly realistic degree! I am still developing my technique, and there are literally thousands of brushes to experiment with, so I have only made it through a pitiful pecentage of them. But I am definitely hooked, and it has become my latest obsession!
Converting photos to paintings is a great way to elevate your photo into a sophisticated and elegant display piece for your home. Incidentally, it is also a great way to make a slightly less than stellar photo better for display. The texture of the paint helps to turn photos that are slightly blurry into works of art, and if photos have color and lighting issues, these can often be corrected in the painting process.
Sometimes you want to do more than just paint an existing photo. You might want to change the background, compile multiple subjects, add fantastical elements, or even create a whole new image that places your facial features onto different characters.
These types of edits can be done with a variety of different tools, depending on what exactly you are looking for, so prices will vary depending on difficulty. For instance, changing your photo into a Studio Ghibli artwork is completely done by AI, so these only take a few minutes, but a more complex edit that involves first creating a photo compilation, and then converting that into some form of artwork will require much more time and effort.
If you have a creative idea for a painting, I would love to hear it!
When I first started doing edits online, my favorite projects were those editing or creating illustrations. The still hold a high place on my list of favorites, but have recently been overtaken by my new love for digital painting. Neither of which is a very frequent request, compared to standard photo editing, so I still have plenty of time to do both!
I have always been drawn to the black and white aesthetic in many ways, and illustrations are no exception. I’m still trying to nail that perfect photo-to-sketch conversion, but I am getting closer!
Color illustrations are of course a bit tricker because you have more complex patterns and shading, and every artist has their own techniques, so matching them can be tough.
On Reddit, these image requests are often ones people have generated with AI, so I can use AI again to help me achieve the same or similar style if needed.
Illustrated images are also popular as t-shirt designs, so I enjoy working on those as well.
Photos & Vectors
I don’t do a lot of photo editing, because I usually find it boring, but I do enjoy photo compilations where people want to add somewhat fantastical elements to their existing photos, or cutout photo subjects and place them into a creative scene. I will sometimes do less creative compilations as well, such as taking people from multiple photos and compiling them into a single image together, but these ones aren’t as fun.
Unlike raster graphics, which I have been doing for decades, vector art is still pretty new to me. The mathematical precision of vector art fascinates me and I have always wanted to pursue it. I finally caved in and bought the (expensive) software and I am learning as I go. If you are not in a hurry, and willing to give a newbie a chance, I can design you a vector image for a fraction of the cost of a professional!
AI Related Edits
One fun use for AI Image generators is turning sketches or other mockup concepts into realistic photos or paintings. Sometimes if the sketch is detailed enough, you can even get a usable image without much need for editing (and in these cases I will do them for free or just a few dollars). If a sketch is simple and just a basic layout idea (think stick figures and box houses), these will take more work to get AI to convert them, by hand-editing your rough sketch into something more detailed before running it through the AI.
If you don’t have the skill to mock up even a simple sketch, AI can still be used to realize your vision, it just may take a bit more work and collaboration for me to generate what you are hoping for. I will start by discussing your idea and then doing the mockups for you. I will then work with the AI to get the images converted and fine tuned. As usual, I will always edit the resulting AI images to ensure there are no AI artifacts leftover and that your finished image looks cohesive and professional with a personal touch.
Miscellaneous
Infographics are usually fairly simple projects, but a lot of people just don’t have the tools to put them together. These are often perfect projects to also practice my vector art on, so if you need an infographic put together, feel free to contact me to discuss it.
Although not technically a “graphic edit”, we occasionally get people in the PhotoshopRequest group looking for help making documents in word or PDF format. This could be anything from creating a menu for a restaurant complete with pictures, to turning a scanned form into a fillable PDF.
There are hundreds of websites and apps that will remove backgrounds for you, but if you try to move that image onto a darker or lighter background than the original, you end up seeing a fringe around the subject. Cutting images out to look good on both dark and light backgrounds takes a bit more finesse and hand-masking to get a good result. Especially if you have fuzzy or translucent elements like the electric orb and purple swoosh in this example. Although it is usually considered to be a tedious task, I actually find this type of work strangely satisfying.
