Nude Body Painting

The Request

This was my most interesting request yet! I was provided with a semi-nude photo, and asked to paint it in a similar style to the two examples.
(For obvious reasons I have censored the original photo)

The Results

As I have mentioned before, painting is a new hobby for me. Usually I start with a photo, then I will alter it to resemble a painting using things like filters, photoshop actions, or sometimes AI generators. I then use that altered image as a reference to paint over top of in Corel Painter.

This project was the first time that I have painted something 100% by hand, and I am thrilled with how it turned out! To be clear, I did still paint overtop of the original photo, to make sure I got the shape and dimensions perfect. But I did not use any filters or AI to prep it first. I just chose my colors and painted by hand, using the requester’s reference painting as a guide.
